A brand new craft beer and wine bar will officially open its doors in Latham this Friday with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Colonie Chamber of Commerce.
The Grape and The Growler is actually the town's first-ever beer and wine bar. The owners describe the establishment at 155 Wade Rd. as having two sides — the Grape is a modern wine bar and the Growler is a tap house with an extensive beer list.
“We look forward to being good neighbors with the town of Colonie," said co-owners Pete Cusato and Joe Schaefer in a news release. "We welcome the challenges that were presented to us along the way and look forward to making Latham a better place to live."
The menu is typical pub fare, and includes salad and burger combinations, four variations of mac and cheese, sandwiches, wings quesadillas, specialty pizzas and dinner entrees.
Friday's ribbon cutting will be held at 3 p.m. The Grape and the Growler will be open Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
