Local Spotlight: Take a Nostalgiac Journey with Jay St. Video Games
What do Buzz Lightyear, Super Mario, and Darth Vader have in common? Well, two things. One, they are all timeless symbols of our youth that are still just as popular today as the day they debuted. Two, because of that timelessness, your kids will make you spend a lot of money on characters that were cool when you were a kid. If only, you'd held onto all those video games you had when you were a kid. Boy, would your kids have a ball if you still had them. And think of the money you'd save not having to buy all new games featuring the same characters that you grew up with.
Luckily, we have Jay St. Video Games. Jay St. Video Games features all of the greatest classic games from every system imaginable. They feature a full line of games from Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Xbox, Nintendo 64, Playstation 1, 2, and 3, and lets not forget about the Wii.
I took my five year old son in there to look around one day and we were able to find Monsters Inc and Toy Story on Playstation 2. To him, these games are brand new. They will be to your kids as well. The best part is that I was able to pick up both games for about $20 total. The moral of the story is, don't go waste your money on the latest games that easily sell for $60 or even $70 per game. Go to Jay St. Video Games and you'll get the same satisfaction. You'll look like a hero and you'll be able to afford lunch too.
You can find Jay St. Video Games in Colonie Center, and also once again in Crossgates Mall where they have just reopened near the Regal Cinema on the lower level.
The best thing about Jay St. would have to be the staff. They know what they're talking about. They've played the games, both old and new. They know what you're talking about when you ask about a game. They don't just smile and nod like somebody in the Wal-Mart electronics section. They live and breathe their store and they love sharing that knowledge with you.
They were voted the Number One Video Game store in the 2013 Metroland Readers Pole. That means that people that actually go out and shop for video games decided that Jay St. gave the best overall shopping experience, the best prices, and pretty much overall awesomeness.
You can find out more about this local walk down memory lane by liking them on Facebook. They'll give you updates on prices and awesome deals they have going on daily.

One last thing that Buzz Lightyear, Super Mario, and Darth Vader have in common. . .
They're all great ways to use your kids as an excuse to go in. Take a trip down Jay St.
Be a kid again!
