Local Spotlight: Revies Unique Gifts is the Best Kept Secret in Schenectady.
When you walk into Revies, you are transported to another
world. Not literally, but it’s a really
cool store. The glass work and décor alone
is something to marvel at. Revies
features literally everything you could possibly want if you are looking for items
to decorate your house or apartment and you want to express yourself.
Their collection of vintage posters will have you feeling
like you traveled back in time to a much cooler place where the Rolling Stones
and The Beatles still have you deciding whether you want to hold her hand or
spend the night together.
Revies has the most extensive collection of Tree Shurts in
the capital region. These now very hard
to find garments spark the symbolism of the individuality that each of us would
love to express and gives a giant middle finger to the formulaic machine that
we are all forced to live in.
Revies supports local artists and glass blowers. You will be able to find several unique glass
pieces that aren’t available anywhere else.
The artistry and soulful detail put into each piece shows and to see the
time and concentration put into each piece is worth the trip alone.
Revies has the largest choice of incense I’ve ever
seen. The picture speaks for
itself. There isn’t a man or woman alive
that wouldn’t be pleased by the stress relieving aromas available in the back
of the store. With incense always burning
in the store as you shop, you are given a euphoric experience even as you
browse.
There are over twenty flavors of shisha available to suit
any taste, along with hundreds of hookah choices.
Revies Unique Gifts is the best kept secret in Schenectady,
but now the secret’s out. Every time you
walk in, you are greeted with a smile and a warm hello from Kelly and the
girls. If you are looking for a truly
unique experience that you will remember, then head to Revies. It’s a hell of a lot more fun than shopping
at Sears.
Like Revies on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/ReviesTobaccoAccessories?fref=ts and right now, if you go see Kelly and tell them that Capitaland sent you, you’ll
receive 10% off all purchases of $20 or more (excluding tobacco).

Jay St. Video Games Commercial!
This is Capitaland Stuff's First Produced Commercial for our first client, Jay St. Video Games!
Enjoy!!
Local Spotlight: Take a Nostalgiac Journey with Jay St. Video Games
What do Buzz Lightyear, Super Mario, and Darth Vader have in common? Well, two things. One, they are all timeless symbols of our youth that are still just as popular today as the day they debuted. Two, because of that timelessness, your kids will make you spend a lot of money on characters that were cool when you were a kid. If only, you'd held onto all those video games you had when you were a kid. Boy, would your kids have a ball if you still had them. And think of the money you'd save not having to buy all new games featuring the same characters that you grew up with.
Luckily, we have Jay St. Video Games. Jay St. Video Games features all of the greatest classic games from every system imaginable. They feature a full line of games from Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Xbox, Nintendo 64, Playstation 1, 2, and 3, and lets not forget about the Wii.
I took my five year old son in there to look around one day and we were able to find Monsters Inc and Toy Story on Playstation 2. To him, these games are brand new. They will be to your kids as well. The best part is that I was able to pick up both games for about $20 total. The moral of the story is, don't go waste your money on the latest games that easily sell for $60 or even $70 per game. Go to Jay St. Video Games and you'll get the same satisfaction. You'll look like a hero and you'll be able to afford lunch too.
You can find Jay St. Video Games in Colonie Center, and also once again in Crossgates Mall where they have just reopened near the Regal Cinema on the lower level.
The best thing about Jay St. would have to be the staff. They know what they're talking about. They've played the games, both old and new. They know what you're talking about when you ask about a game. They don't just smile and nod like somebody in the Wal-Mart electronics section. They live and breathe their store and they love sharing that knowledge with you.
They were voted the Number One Video Game store in the 2013 Metroland Readers Pole. That means that people that actually go out and shop for video games decided that Jay St. gave the best overall shopping experience, the best prices, and pretty much overall awesomeness.
You can find out more about this local walk down memory lane by liking them on Facebook. They'll give you updates on prices and awesome deals they have going on daily.

One last thing that Buzz Lightyear, Super Mario, and Darth Vader have in common. . .
They're all great ways to use your kids as an excuse to go in. Take a trip down Jay St.
Be a kid again!
